Week 2

Literacy

We have been continuing with the story Lost and Found this week and the children have been creating their own books to tell the story.  They have been writing words and sentences to accompany the pictures. 

 

Maths

In maths we have been continuing to match the correct number of objects to the numerals.  We have been looking at what happens when we add one more and talking about what we can see.  The children have been counting forwards and backwards within 10 and counting on from a given number. 

Expressive Arts and Design

This week we have been experimenting with watercolour painting.  We have been blending colours and learning new techniques.
