Week 2

This week in RE, we have been thinking about what God is like. We had some brilliant ideas like God is powerful, He is kind and generous and he keeps us safe.

In Maths this week, Year 2 children have been drawing their own number lines to subtract. We have also been using tens and ones to show what happens when we subtract 10, 20, 30 and more.

In PSHE this week, we discussed how to be successful at something and what success looks like. We worked as a team to carefully pass the plate of marbles round the circle without making a noise, we set a simple goal and worked together to achieve it. We then wrote about the things that we are proud of achieving such as being a good friend, learning to ride a bike or being a good cook!

In Art this week, we have been looking at how to create a still life drawing. Using the sketching techniques we learnt last week, we created some amazing still life drawings of some fruit.
