Believe. Aspire. Succeed.
This term we will be looking at the work of LS Lowry and using it to inspire our own art. This week we looked at his early seascape paintings and created our own by mixing water colours.
Children have spent 2 weeks creating their own versions of LS Lowry's iconic buildings, they started by drawing the outline of the buildings then filling in the finer details like the windows and doors, finally they added the people.
This week as part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the children have drawn portraits of the Queen.
This week the children had a choice to either use paint or pastels to create a portrait of the Queen. For the paints, the children had to mix colours to create the portraits.
