In maths this week we have been subtracting using a part whole model. Today we had to find four facts from the part whole model. This is called fact families. We found two additions and two subtractions.
In Science we were set the challenge of finding out which ball is the bounciest. We all stood next to the ball we thought would be the bounciest. Next we went to the hall to test the balls. We put a mark on the door to drop the ball from then we marked on the door where the ball bounced up to. After that we used a tape measure to record our results. Can you guess which ball was the bounciest?
In maths we counted out objects and took them away to practise our subtraction strategies.
