RE this week was all about the big frieze, which we use to support our learning on Christianity. We were detectives and looked for clues about the bible in the pictures. We then looked at a picture from The Parable of the Prodigal son. We talked about what we thought was happening in the picture and why.
In Maths we have been learning how to tell the time. Here are our Year 1 children practising telling the time to O'clock.
Our science this week was all about sorting objects. Some groups sorted them by size, others by colour and some even sorted by the objects use. We looked together at sorting the objects by what materials the objects are made from.
In Maths our Year 1 children were busy testing each other on setting the time to o'clock. Our Year 2 children have been busy finding quarter past and quarter to.
