Week 2
In Maths this week, year 1 children have been colouring a quarter of a shape and Year 2 children have been finding half of a quantity, using the concept of sharing into two equal groups and finding the link between finding half and dividing by 2.
In Art this week, the children used a range of items to print with and a large sheet of paper to experiment on. .They had to select an item dip it in the paint and try making a print with it. Once they were confident they did one for their art book making a repeated pattern.
