Can I use pastels to create an animal skin pattern?

This week in Art children looked at pictures s of different animal skins. Then they used pastels to design their own animal prints!

Over the last few weeks children have been designing their own animal prints. They transferred their designs to foam pads then used paint to roll over the foam pads and then printed them on A4 paper.

Children created a sunset using just red and yellow paint. They blended yellow with red to make different shades of orange and then drew and cut out African animals on black paper to use as silhouettes in the background.
