Term 6

This term we have looked at carrying on our learning from time, and moving onto angles.

Take a look at our right angle investigation and our maths display board so far this term!

Term 4

In term 4, we have focused on Measurements. We looked at converting mm into cm and cm into m. We have then began to explore perimeter of 2D shapes measuring and calculating them. As well as being able to use our problem solving skills to answer questions related to these.

TWOSDAY- 22.2.2022

Today we celebrated in many ways that today was twosday and why it was special. So we decided to do many things in twos!

Take a look at some of our learning we took part in to commemorate the day!

In Maths, we had a range of activities on the board and chose certain activities to do with 22 within our maths books.

In English, we worked in partners to create a free verse poem about our new text of the term

In DT, we worked in partners and used 22 straws to create different structures, only using masking tape to connect. Look at our amazing sculptures!

We are learning about the multiplication and division.

We take great pride in the process of being able to understand calculations and using the method of make it, draw it, write it; it really encourages the children to get a deeper understanding of their learning at hand.
