Week 1

In History this week, we started our learning on castles by investigating and answering questions about different kings, queens and castles. We learnt who William the Conqueror was and why he is so important in our learning. 

In Maths this week, Year 1's have been finding 1 more and 1 less than numbers to 100 as well as ordering numbers to 100 using tens and ones to help us and deciding which number is less than or greater than and using the correct symbols to show this.

In PE this week, we practiced throwing the Javalin correctly with JB sports.
