Literacy

We have continued our story Jasper’s Beanstalk this week and the children have been writing about where they would like to go to if they found and climbed a magic beanstalk growing in their garden at home.

Maths

This week in maths we have been looking at shapes. We have been joining shapes together to see what new shapes we can make. The children have been putting 2D shapes together to see what patterns they can make. We have also been folding paper shapes to see what other shapes can be made just by folding the paper.

Science

We have continued with our bird spotting this week and have made our own bird feeders.  We have hung them in the school grounds to see if we can attract birds.  We have been scanning QR codes with the ipads to listen to the different birds song and matching the toy birds to their fact file.
