Forest School

Welcome to Coningsby St Michael`s Forest School

At Coningsby, we believe every child deserves the chance to grow, explore, and thrive in nature. That’s why our Forest School opportunities stretch from EYFS all the way up to Year 6—ensuring that every learner, at every stage, can experience the magic of the outdoors. Classes rotate in taking part in a six-week block of sessions, each lasting two hours per week—providing dedicated time to explore, discover, and grow in our outdoor learning environment.

For full details and the latest updates, please refer to our Forest School Handbook below. It’s your guide to all the exciting opportunities waiting in the woods!

On your class Forest school day children will need to come to school dressed in their PE kit. As the weather starts to get a bit cooler (and wetter) please ensure that all children bring a coat and a change of shoes (welly boots are ideal) waterproof trousers or puddle suits are also really useful especially on those cold wet days. Also don't forget your hats gloves and scarfs.
