Week 5
Today we started building the bridges we designed last week - I saw concentration, perseverance and team work - fantastic job Hedgehogs!
In Maths we explore parts and the whole by asking questions in our group like ... Do you like carrots? We then put a counter in the yes bowl or the no bowl. Our whole was 6 every time but our part were different.
Our Year 1 children moved on to looking at parts and whole on a part whole model. They chose a number and then split it into parts in different ways.
