Week 3
Continuing our work on bridges, in DT this week, we have been finding out how to make a strong structure and which shapes work well.
In Science this week we conducted an experiment to see which materials absorbed the most. We were aiming to be fair with our testing. So we used the same amount of water on each material. We discussed our results and recorded them.
In Maths our Year 1 children have been expploring numbers. They had to choose a number and represent it in as many ways as possible.
In our RE lesson we listened to, watched and acted out the story of the Prodigal Son. Can you see which part of the story we are acting out.
In Maths our Year 2 children have been exploring 2 digit numbers. They found different ways of partitioning using a part whole model.
