We have been looking at traditional Ndebele houses and the distinctive African art designs that are used to decorate them.  The children then made their own homes.  

Expressive Art and Design

The children have been studying water colour painting this ter.  We have looked at the work of the artist David Mc Eown and then the children have painted their own Arctic / Antarctic landscapes.  

Literacy 

We have continued with the story Handa's Hen this week and the children have made their own books.  They have been writing their own sentences to go with the pictures.
