We have come back refreshed after the half term break and are excited for our new term ahead.

Literacy

This week we have been telling the story of The Enormous Turnip.  We have been using actions and repeated refrains to tell the story and the children have been acting out the different parts.  We have made our own story maps from the story and have retold the story to a friend.  

Understanding of the World

In History this week we have been finding out about the life of David Attenborough.  We watched some clips of programmes he made early in his career and then programmes he made recently. We talked about how he had changed over time and about the amazing work he has done throughout his life.
