We did a Science experiment to see why the children can't hear Mrs Pobjoy's whistle! We tested with our hoods down and then with our hoods up. We found out that if we are close to Mrs Pobjoy we can hear the whistle, with our hoods up and down! The further away we get the harder it is to hear the whistle. When we have our hoods up and we are a long way away, we can only just hear the whistle. We have to use our sense of hearing and really listen!
