This term in science we are learning all about animals including humans. We started by looking for signs of autumn and how the seasons change including the length of the day, then we started looking for common animals or signs that common animals have been in our school grounds. 

This week in science we have been identifying, grouping and classifying. We started by choosing our own different ways of grouping animals, such as animals that live in the water and animals that live on land. Then we looked at the 5 groups of animals, reptiles, mammals, amphibians, birds and fish. We looked at the different characteristics of them all and then grouped them according to this.

We have continued our learning of grouping and classifying animals by looking at the features that make them part of that group.
