As part of our Geography this term we are learning the points on a compass. Children found North on their compasses and then worked out that South was in the opposite direction, then East and West were also opposite each other. We then used directional language, anti-clockwise, clockwise, forwards and backwards to move around the field. Then we used our learning of time and fractions to move half and quarter turns.
