Children have had a great start to their writing this term, they began by drawing the giant and using expanded noun phrases to describe his appearance and personality, then they wrote a character description for him. Children have also been looking at setting descriptions, first they looked in picture books to find the setting description, then they looked at more challenging books with no pictures to see if they could find and read out the setting description.
