In Maths, Y1 are exploring subtraction. Today we used part-whole models and our knowledge of partitioning to write subtraction number sentences.

Today in Science, we took part in an investigation to find out which ball is the bounciest. We tested a football, netball, tennis ball, ping pong ball and a hockey ball. We made it a fair test by bouncing the ball on the same surface and from the same height. We found out that the bounciest ball was the ping pong ball.

This term in PE, we are doing gymnastics! Today, we used our bodies to make different letters of the alphabet and then we worked in pairs to spell out our names.
