This term in English we have been looking at the features of traditional tales. We have written character and setting descriptions using the stories of Rapunzel and Jack and the Beanstalk for inspiration. Here are our own versions of Jack and the Beanstalk. We started by creating our character of the giant then used our senses to describe what it looked like at the top of the beanstalk then we planned our alternative stories. We have also been learning about how to use expanded noun phrases, subordinating and coordinating conjunctions, different sentence starters as well as adverbs in our writing to make it more interesting.
