Children completed building their vehicles this week. They used different resources to complete their designs and engineering skills to measure where the axles and wheels should go so that they roll in a straight line.

This term children will be exploring different vehicles and naming the different features. They will understand and describe how vehicles move and work, follow instructions to make a vehicle with different materials and design their own vehicle. They will then make their own vehicle with moving parts by following their design. They will measure, cut and join materials together.
