Week 2
In Year 1 Maths we explored representations of numbers to 100. We built them, drew them and then wrote them.
In Year 2 maths we went outside and gave each other directions to go along our routes, we used the maths vocabulary clockwise, anticlockwise right, left, forward, backwards, whole turn, half turn, quarter turn and three quarter turn. We did a brilliant job!
In Year 1 Maths we explored representations of numbers to 100. We had to identify what numbers were shown in the pictures and build it.
In English we acted out the story of the Last Wolf in small groups.
In Year 2 Maths we went outside and gave each other directions to go along our routes, we used the maths vocabulary right, left, forward, backwards.
Week 1
Our music this week was lead by a lady from Lincolnshire Music Service! We explore the pulse with a steady beat and the pitch as well as responding to a piece of music and learning new songs!
In Year 1 Maths we are learning about position. We had to work with a partner and give them instructions on where to place their cubes to match our design. Our instructions and positional language was amazing!

In Year 1 Maths we each had a turning an object that we used to practise a whole turn, half a turn, a quarter turn and a three quarter turn. We checked with our partners that we had made the turn correctly.
