Week 5
In PE with Mrs Phillips we explored balancing on different parts of our bodies. We had to use one point (like a hand, elbow, foot, head etc), two points, three points etc. We worked brilliantly with our partner. .
In Maths we explored 2D shapes by finding their line of symmetry. We worked with a partner to cut out and fold the shapes. We looked to see if they were symmetrical and sorted the shapes in to symmetrical and and not symmetrical.
In English we have been exploring traditional stories. Today we explored different stories. We looked at the settings and how we could describe it to our partner.
In Maths we sorted objects by which 3D shape they were. We had lots of cuboids and cylinders but not many cubes or cones!
We added our baubles to the whole school Christmas tree!
