Children got to see today how science is embedded in all their lessons. They started off with a science lesson looking at how plants grow and how plants become our food, then they designed their own farm and decided what they would grow. In maths, they used the fruit to work out halves and quarters. In PE we talked about heart rates and they even used scientific vocabulary, reflection and gravity when we were talking about the different exercises. Finally in art, children predicted what the seeds would look like in various fruit and drew them before we cut the fruit up which they then demolished like locusts!
