Literacy

This week we have continued with the story Farmer Duck. We have been looking at the new vocabulary from the story and acting out the words. The children have acted out the words crept, wearily, wriggled, fled, and squeezed. They have showed amazing expression as they have been doing this!

Maths

This week we have focussing on counting and tagging each item with a number word. We have been counting forwards and backwards within 10 and understanding the last number counted gives the total.

Understanding of the World.

In science we have been making a waterproof hat, we have been talking about waterproof materials and what materials would be good to make the hat.
