Maths

In maths we have been continuing to match the correct number of objects to the numerals.  We have been looking at what happens when we add one more and talking about what we can see.  The children have been counting forwards and backwards within 10 and counting on from a given number. 

Literacy

We have been continuing with the story Lost and Found this week and the children have been thinking about how the characters were feeling at different parts of the story.  The children have been making their own Lost and Found books.  

Expressive Arts and Design

This week we have been experimenting with watercolour painting.  We have been blending colours and learning new techniques.
