Year 2 have started their learning on fractions by looking at what wholes and parts are.

Year 1 have started their learning of fractions by looking at half of a shape, they had to find a half colour it in then cut out a half and match it to it's shape.

Year 1 have continued their learning of fractions by finding half of a shape, they had to be very careful to make sure they were finding an equal half.

Year 2 have been learning to count in fractions today!

Children have been working in pairs to find half of an amount.

Year 1 children have been finding a quarter of an object.

Year 2 have been investigating finding a half and two quarters. 

Year 1 children have been using their clocks to tell the time to half past the hour.

Year 2 children have been using their clocks to tell the time to 5, 10, 20 1nd 25 past the hour.

To start their learning of 3D shapes, Owls have been looking at the shapes, drawing the 2D shape that makes them and then using stickers to count how many faces they have.
