Coningsby St Michael's Church of England Primary School
STEM day
As we welcomed children back to school after lockdown, a whole school STEM project was organised with RAF Coningsby. Children worked in groups to design and cost a future aircraft that they would then have to present in a Dragons Den style presentation. Children worked really well in teams and their enthusiasm throughout the day was a joy. The Dragons consisted of a STEM team of specialist engineers from RAF Coningsby who had the task of picking a winner from KS1 and KS2. The children had a great day and we were so proud of how they tackled the project and how they presented themselves to the Dragons. A massive well done to everyone.
