20-05-2013 Dear Parents/Carers, Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Open Afternoon on Friday last week, it was encouraging to see so many of you in school and I know the children always enjoy showing you their work and their learning taking place! I hope to see you all in school again this week for the topic planning sessions.
In school we continue to collect the Nestle Box Tops for books and the Sainsbury’s Active kids vouchers. The Sainsbury’s vouchers will stop being issued on Wednesday 22 May 2013. Please bring any vouchers you have collected to school so we can submit them in exchange for fantastic new reading and sports resources for our school. Thank you!
I hope you all have a wonderful half term, and that the sunshine we had enjoyed a few weeks ago comes back for us! I look forward to seeing you for the start of term 6 on Monday 3 June.

Your School Council Needs You - urgently!!!!!
On behalf of our School Council I would like to ask for your support in rejuvenating our Trim Trail. The School Council would like to sand and stain the Trim Trail but we need some help! We are thinking of meeting on Thursday 30th May during half term week from 10am-2pm. If you are interested in helping us please give your name to the School Office…at the moment the list is empty, so please sign up!

Help needed!!!
We are coming to the time of year when the children in Y6 are busy preparing for their end of year production. This year the production is ‘Pirates of the Curry Bean’, and work will soon be underway with rehearsals. For the staging of this, we are in need of white sheets - so if you have any spare sheets at home for donation, please bring them to the school office. Thank you!
